Depart this morning with a local guide for a walking tour of Chisinau. Pass some of the city's main sights and historical monuments, such as the Parliament building, and admire the beautiful architecture of the City Hall and St. Pantelimon Church. In the afternoon, visit the Cricova Winery for a tour of the underground wine cellars and enjoy a tasting of some of Moldova's famous wines. This morning, we head north to Moldova from Chișinău. Our first stop is Saharna Monastery, nestled in a peaceful natural setting. This spiritual site, surrounded by waterfalls and wooded cliffs, invites contemplation and the discovery of ancient relics steeped in history.
Continue to a small village for a gourmet stop at an artisanal cheese dairy. Enjoy a light lunch of fresh cheeses, homemade jams, and local wine. This community project aims to preserve traditional skills while creating sustainable jobs for local residents.
